October 23, 2005 took place at the restaurant Jean-Baptiste of Louiseville, Quebec, a reunion gathering the descendants of Origène and Alexina Bellemare.

This reunion was under the very nice initiative of our cousin Andrée Côté (Siméon Côté and Alphonsine Bellemare). More than 130 people attended this dinner. Members of the family of our uncle Siméon Côté had joined us also to celebrate.

Origene was the son of Honore Bellemare and Alexina Bellemare, married at Yamachiche on February 22, 1854. Origene married in first wedding Alexina Lamy on December 19, 1908 in Yamachiche. That one died on March 1, 1910 without having child.

May first, 1913, Origène taken for second wife Alexina Bellemare of Yamachiche, daughter of Dionis and Albina Désaulniers. From this marriage were born Joseph on March 18, 1914 (Husband of Claire Houle daughter of Omer and Bertha Gauthier of Pointe du Lac), Jeanne born June 16, 1915 (married with Richard Milot), Alphonsine born on September 17, 1916 (married with Siméon Côté), Achille born on November 29, 1917 (married with Edith web), Rose-Anne born on July 14, 1920, Sister of Providence community, Joachim born on 25 February 1922 and deceased on September 29, 1929, Marthe born on June 17, 1924 (married with Gilles Houle) and Marcel born on October 16, 1926 (married in first wedding with Marielle Delandes).

A new blazon was presented to the participants at this meeting. This blazon will become the emblem of the branch Origène and Alexina Bellemare. All were enchanted to be found again for oldest, and for young people, to know finally a little more about their relationship. General opinion, such a meeting should return at each year.
